Join us in Dubai during November 2022 for our annual International Exams Officer training event. We will be focusing upon exam changes for the 2022/2023 academic year and good practice, hints and tips to help you manage and administer examinations in your centre, with particular attention paid to key tasks which need to be undertaken  from November to February.

All delegates attending this exams officer training will also receive a free membership to The Exams Office until July 2023 (including full access to the website and Online Portal), and a copy of the Instructions for conducting examinations booklet.

INTERNATIONAL EXAMS OFFICER TRAINING 2022

The Exams Office will be hosting exams training for overseas centres during November 2022.

Dates: 16 & 17 November

Location/venue: Jafza One Convention Centre, Jafza One, Jebel Ali – Dubai (https://www.jocc.ae/visitors/ )

Cost: £695 (£300 for an additional delegate from the same centre)

The delegate rate includes:

  • Access to The Exams Office website to 30 July 2023 (from the point of payment of invoice)
  • A copy of the Instructions for conducting examinations publication

2022 training content

Day 1

  • Understanding exam regulation changes for the 2022/2023 academic year (AQA and Pearson AS, A Level and GCSE qualifications)
    • Our team of exam experts will support delegates in interpreting the changes and the impact within their centre
    • Delegates will also have an opportunity to discuss regulation changes with fellow delegates and consider how to implement these within their centre

A guide to the latest information and resources available on The Exams Office website.

This training event is designed to support new and experienced exams officers as a guide to some of the key exams-related tasks which must be undertaken from November to February.

The areas covered on day 2 include:

  • Exam planning for the academic year

  • Exam policies and procedures

  • Contingency planning                   

  • Briefing candidates, parents/carers and staff

  • Confidential exam materials

  • Training your invigilators                             

  • Managing an exam day

  • Managing malpractice

  • The Exams Office update
